This course will be delivered in the workplace or at an Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO or Third party facility.

• Participants must have the physical capacity to perform the practical demonstrations such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and performing rescue breathing techniques on manikins

• Online study options: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.

• Face to Face – 16 hours (minimum) full face to face course

• Online delivery with face to face - 6 hours (minimum)

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks. These are detailed in the sections following.

Theory assessment: A written assessment consisting of multiple-choice questions.

The HLTAID011 course is designed for people who want to go beyond basic understanding when it comes to first aid. It's also perfect for individuals who oversee organising and planning first aid protocols at work.

The HLTAID014 course, in comparison, offers higher-level first aid instruction. It includes a broader range of skills and knowledge beyond the first aid topics taught in the HLTAID011 course.

After you finish the course, the HLTAID014 certificate is valid for three years.
